The Panthers had hosted and won the Capitals with a great game of O Jokinen.
The Canadiens had defeated the Maple Leafs in a boring NHL game. Same, was at the game between the Hurricanes who had defeated the Lightning.
The Blues had won the game with The Blackhawks in the central western conference.
The Flames won the game with the Oilers - 5-3.
