Lebanese Elections 2009 winners

The Lebanese general elections will be held in Lebanon on June 7, 2009. There are in all 702 registered candidates contesting elections.
Our predictions for the elections are:
The winner of the general elections 2009 is the opposition party of Aoun-Hizbullah-Berri. It was the fear of many that Hezbollah may take over, but this scenario has been ruled out. The seats division between the Majority party and opposition party is neck to neck.
The opposition has won by a slim margin. Opposition got 71 seats out of 128 seats while the majority party of got around 57 seats out of 128 parliamentary seats. Major constituency were almost clear with winner predictions beforehand but the decisive result in the election came in from the Christian areas.
