Fashion Week 2008 Review

2008 Fashion Week started September 8 as New York’s fashion runways launched a vast array of ready to wear styles for Spring 2009.

Raul Melgoza’s straight, flat creations for Luca Luca showed lots of white with a dash of orange here and there. His work was in stark contrast to Carolina Herrera’s new line, which ran wild with prints, colors, flutters and ruffles.

Jill Stuart’s collection of floaty fabrics and harem pants was not for everyone, while Isaac Mizrahi delivered a very appealing collection of feminine fashion in light spring colors and fabrics.
