Beijing Olympics Women’s Beach Volleyball Results

The gold medal match of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Women’s Beach Volleyball competition was held Thursday, 21 August at Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground in Beijing.
The US team of Walsh and May-Treanor played the Chinese team of Tian Jia and Wang in the gold medal round, and the US women won in 3 sets. Beach Volleyball prediction: the United States is the winner of the gold medal in Women’s Beach Volleyball at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The battle for gold began 9 August with 24 teams of 2 women each playing for medals. The Chinese team were favored to win gold, while May-Treanor and Walsh were the No. 2 seed coming in to the competition.
