2009 Wimbledon Women’s Singles Winner

The 2009 Wimbledon women’s singles final was played on July 4, 2009 at the Centre Court. The Wimbledon winners were given their titles at Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London. The semi final match was between Dinara Safina and Venus Williams and another semi final was between Elena Dementieva and Serena Williams. The final match was between the winners of the two semi finals who were the William sisters. It was like a repeat match of 2002, 2003 and 2008 where the battle was between the Williams sisters.
Here are our predictions for the 2009 Wimbledon Women’s single winner:
The 2009 Wimbledon Women’s single winner is Serena Williams. It was a tough fight between Venus Williams and Serena Williams. Serena was on the roll to win this grand slam after 2003. Her No.2 seed gave her the motivation to conquer Wimbledon. The Wimbledon title remained in the Williams family.
