The 2009 BCS national championship game was played in January 8, 2009 in the Dolphin Stadium in Miami. The teams University of Florida Gators and the University of Oklahoma Sooners had met for an exciting game. They were selected based on the BCS rankings. This game got almost no attention because of it’s date which is after the holiday season and the uninteresting teams that played in it.
