The presidential election in the Republic of China in 2008 was the the forth one ever and included two parties - The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) who had chosen the candidate Frank Hsieh and the party Kuomintang (KMT) with the candidate Ma Ying-jeou.

The winner of the 2008 Taiwan Presidential Elections was KMT with the candidate Ma Ying-jeou who will be the next president of the Republic of China.
