2008 Swiss Referendum Results

A referendum election was held Sunday, 1 June 2008 in Switzerland to decide on a number of questions submitted by the people.

The referendum vote included three questions. Voters overwhelmingly approved an initiative to submit naturalization decisions to the local assembly. Swiss referendum prediction: The people’s initiative supporting community decisions in naturalization applications wins approval.

The people submitted two initiatives, one that would curb government spending on information campaigns and a second to submit the naturalization of immigrants to a vote at the municipal level.

So it be? Maybe . . .
