2008 Spanish Elections Results

The Spanish Elections for the Congress of Deputies were held on March 9, 2008.
The 9-M elections were tight and interesting till the last minute. the results of the Spain elections gave the majority of the seats to the current ruling party - The Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party better known as the PSOE. This party got 165 seats of the Spanish parliament which are about 43% of the total votes.
The PSOE was tightly floowed by the current opposition Popular Party who got about 39% of the votes.
