The Scottish Football Association’s Scottish Cup Final was held Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Hampden Park, Scotland’s National Stadium, in Glasgow, Scotland. The match kicked off at 3:00 p.m. local time.
The match lined up Queen of the South, representing Dumfries, against Rangers FC from Glasgow. The heavily favored “Teddy Bears,” as Rangers are nicknamed, won the match. Scottish football prediction: Rangers are the winners of the 2008 Scottish Cup Final.
Rangers played nine matches, including a contest for the UEFA Cup final while Queen of the South had lay-off. Rangers were heavily favored going into the match.
