2008 Russian Presidential Election Results
the Russian presidential election took place on March 2, 2008. The candidates of the elections were Andrey Bogdanov from the Democratic party of Russia, Vladimir Zhirinovsky from the Liberal Democratic party of Russia, Gennady Zyuganov from the Communist party of the Russian federation and Dimitry Medvedev the current vice president who is strongly supported by President Putin.
The results of the 2008 Russian presidential elections were clear - Dimitry Medvedev is the the next Russian President after he had won over 75% percents of the total votes.
