The Tournoi de Roland Garros, commonly known as the French Open, was held in Paris, France, at the Stade de Roland Garros, beginning May 25 and finishing June 8, 2008.

Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, ranked number two in the world, walked away with the men’s singles title. Tennis prediction: Rafael Nadal is the winner of the 2008 Roland Garros tennis championship.

Nadal has been very successful on the clay courts at the Roland Garros in the past, winning the men’s singles title in each of the last three seasons.

The Roland Garros is the second tournament in the tour’s Grand Slam calendar, and is considered to be one of the most prestigious of tennis events.
