2008 Pennsylvania Democratic Primary Results

The Pennsylvania Democratic Primary were held on April 22, 2008. There is a total of 188 delegates in Pennsylvania - 158 will be divided based on the vote and 30 are superdelegates.

The winner of the 2008 Pennsylvania Democratic Primary is Hillary Clinton who wins by 7% over Barack Obama. The win of Hillary Clinton can be explained by the white relatively old population in Pennsylvania which is not ready to vote for a African American like senator Obama.
