The playoffs of the 2008 NHL western conference had ended and the identity of the team that will represent the western conference at the Stanley cup is known.
The winner of the 2008 NHL Western Conference is the San Jose Sharks which had defeated the Calgary Flames on the first round of the playoffs followed by the Anaheim Ducks and the Anaheim Duck.
