The winner of the 2008 NHL Eastern conference was announced after the end of the playoff rounds.
The winner of the 2008 NHL easten conference is Montreal Canadiens which was also ranked #1 with the end of the regular season. They were followed by Pittsburgh Penguins, the Washington Capitals and the New York Rangers.
