2008 Nebraska Republican Primary Winner
The Republican Party held its primary election in Nebraska on Tuesday, 13 May 2008. Up for grabs were 33 delegates to the Republican party’s nominating convention later this summer.
Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona had all but secured the Republican Party’s nomination for the 2008 Presidential election; nonetheless, voters turned out to voice their preference. As expected, Senator McCain won the majority of delegates in Nebraska. Nebraska Republican primary election results: John McCain is the winner.
Representative Ron Paul of Texas was McCain’s sole remaining opponent in the Republican primary.
The Democratic Party held closed caucuses on 9 February 2008.
So it be? Maybe . . .
