The 2008 MTV Awards were passed out on Sunday, June 1, 2008 in Hollywood, California. The show was hosted by comedian and film star Mike Myers.
The winner of the Best Villain Award went to Javier Bardem for his portrayal of killer-for-hire Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men. Film award prediction for the MTV awards results: Javier Bardem is the winner of the 2008 MTV Best Villain Award.
This year’s awards drew from a very strong pool of evil characters, including Johnny Depp’s Sweeney Todd and Angelina Jolie’s role as the mother of monster Grendel in Beowulf.
