The 2008 Monte Carlo Masters took place between April 21 and April 27, 2008 in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France next to Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Monte Carlo Open is an ATP tour tournament and it is played on clay courts.
The winner of the 2008 Monte Carlo Masters is Rafael Nadal from Spain who had won the final match against the number one ATP ranking Roger Federer from Switzerland. Rafael Nadal won this title for the last three years and did not manage to keep the title.
