2008 Iranian Parliamentary Election Results

Legislative elections were held in Iran on March 14, 2008. This elections were very important for the Iranian extremist president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
There are no political parties in Iran so only individuals who had been approved by a council might be candidates for the Iranian parliament. Almost half of the candidates had been disqualified, most of the reformists.
The results of the 2008 Iranian Parliamentary Election were not clear - although, it seems that there are less supporters of Ahmadinejad’s policy in the Iranian Parliament there are still no reformist or real opponents to Ahmadinejad.
