2008 Indiana Democratic Primary Winner
The State of Indiana held its Democratic primary election on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Registered Democratic voters throughout the state turned out in record numbers to indicate their preference in selecting the Democratic party’s candidate for November’s Presidential election.
Pre-election poll results were mixed, and showed Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and Senator Barack Obama of Illinois running a very close race in Indiana. On Tuesday, the majority of voters selected Sen. Clinton to be their Presidential candidate. Prediction for the results of the Indiana Democratic primary election: Senator Hillary Clinton is the winner of the Indiana Democratic Primary Winner.
Clinton’s win in Pennsylvania and her popularity with women and working-class Americans helped propel her to victory in the Indiana primary. Indiana’s 84 delegates are awarded proportionally.
So it be? Maybe . . .
