2008 GOP Vice Presidential Candidate Named

The presumptive Republican candidate for President of the United States, John McCain, named his 2008 vice presidential running mate.
Senator McCain had been considering several individuals. He selected Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison from Texas to run with him in the November election. Political prediction: Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison is the GOP vice presidential nominee.
Hutchison has served in the US Senate since 1993. The senator has served on a number of committees and subcommittees dealing with national defense and veterans issues, and she has worked for tax relief for working-class Americans.
So it be? Maybe . . .
