The 2008 Formula Zero Championship began 22 August 2008 in Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
The Element One car, designed and produced by students at the Lawrence Technological University in the United States, was the winner of the race. Racing prediction: Element One is the winner of the 2008 Formula Zero Championship.
Founded in 2003, Formula Zero is the world’s first auto racing series to feature cars powered by hydrogen fuel cells. The first racing series included competitors from six universities around the globe.
The Formula Zero provided fans with two perks: the thrill of watching cars zip around the race course, and zero emissions - the race cars produced only water as a byproduct.
