The 2008 Formula 1 ING Belgian Grand Prix ran at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamp in Spa, Belgium on Sunday, 7 September 2008.
Kimi Räikkönen, driving for Ferrari, took the checkered flag. Racing prediction: Kimi Räikkönen is the winner of the 2008 ING Belgian Grand Prix.
Before this year’s race, Räikkönen held the record at Spa-Francorchamp for the fastest lap time, a record he set in 2004. He has won the Belgian Grand Prix three times since 2004.
The win increased Ferrari’s lead over McLaren-Mercedes in the constructor standings.
