The Family Circle Cup tennis tournament was held between April 12 and April 20, 2008 in Charleston, South Carolina. It was the 35th time the tournament was played as part of the WTA tour.
The winner of the 2008 Family Circle cup is Justine Henin, the Tennis player from Belgium who is currently ranked the first in the world according to the WTA ranking. Justine Henin had defeated Maria Sharapova in the finals of the 2008 Family Circle Cup.
