The Democratic Party wrapped up their national convention in Denver, Colorado at Mile High Stadium on August 28, 2008.

The 4-day event culminated with an inspired speech by Senator Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America.

The Obama campaign saw a positive bounce in the polls immediately following the nominating convention.

The press was impressed with the slick organization Obama put together. The Senator worked as a community organizer in Chicago before he entered law school, developing his skill in calling people to action from a grass-roots level.
