2008 Christmas number one was announced on Christmas 2008.
Our prediction: The winner of Christmas number one 2008 is Alexandre Burke, the winner of X Factor. Westlife with Diana Ross, Nizlopi and The Pogues almost won as well as Leona Lewis and Geraldine McQueen.
Since 1952, Christmas number one is the single which is in the top of the British singles chart right after Christmas.
