The 2008 Chase for the Sprint Cup ended with the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 16, 2008.
Carl Edwards, driving the number 99 Ford Fusion for the Roush-Fenway team, came through the 10-race Chase with the highest points. Racing prediction: Carl Edwards is the winner of NASCAR’s 2008 Sprint Cup.
Edwards led all drivers in top-10 finishes during the regular racing season and entered the Chase in second place, just behind Kyle Busch.
The top 12 drivers in terms of points after the regular racing season battled for the Sprint Cup in a 10-race NASCAR season finale.
