The Real Berlin Marathon was held on 28 September, 2008 in Berlin, Germany. The Berlin Marathon is considered a rather easy marathon due to the good weather in Germany in the late summer and to the fact that it’s course is rather flat and fast. As such, the Berlin marathon attracts a lot of runners from all over the world. More than 40,000 runners started the race including the first winner of the Berlin marathon ever, Günter Hallas, the winner from 1974.
Our marathon prediction: The winner of the 2008 Berlin marathon is Haile Gebrselassie from Ethiopia who had also won the marathon in 2007. In 2007 he had set a new world record. This year, his time was not as fast.
So It Be? Maybe…
