The gold medal game in the women’s volleyball competition at the 2008 Beijing Olympics was held 23 August 2008 at Capital Gymnasium.
Brazil and Cuba met in the gold medal game, and the Brazilian women emerged as the victors. Volleyball prediction: Brazil is the winner of the gold medal in the Women’s Volleyball competition at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
China defeated the United States to win the bronze medal.
The team from Brazil did not lose a single set during the preliminary rounds of the competition and were heavily favored for the gold medal.
