The Mens Basketball competition in the Beijing Olympics was held at the Wukesong Indoor Stadium from August 9 through August 24, 2008.

Teams from the United States and Australia met on the court in the Gold Medal game; the United States defeated the Australians to take home the gold. Olympics basketball prediction: the United States is the winner of the basketball competition in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Teams representing 12 nations competed for medals during the week-long competition. There were some upsets in the competition, and the final game was especially entertaining.
