The 2008 BBC sports personality of the year was announced on 14 December 2008 for the best sport man or woman of the year 2008.
Our award winner prediction : The winner of the 2008 BBC sports personality of the year is Lewis Hamilton. Lewis Hamilton was selected after being the younger driver to win the Formula One World Championship title. Hamilton is racing for the McLaren Mercedes team and is considered by some to be the best British sport man ever.
